Roy I noticed you were not among the single staff on Valentines Day....are you spoken for??
Hey Roy
This may not be the proper place to ask but I'm desperate. I'm on the board of our local animal shelter and am at the moment putting together the first ever large scale fundraiser, which will consist of a supper/live auction. Our shelter desperately needs the funds that this could raise, I won't bore you with everything or make this too long but I would really love to contact Chelsea to possibly have her sign a book for us to auction off. This is our website http://spcaswiftcurrent.com/. Even if you could just pass along the idea we would be so incredibly grateful.
I'm absolutely willing to send copies for her to sign and send back, anything. I really need this gala to be a huge success, so the ground work will be laid and we can continue on every year. The only way to do this is to have some really fantastic and unique stuff in our auction.
If you don't pass this along I totally understand, I just thought it doesn't hurt to try. Thank you so much for even reading this.

Thanks! I am looking forward to seeing what you are working on. I do have another idea. It's called The Audible Chef. It would be a step-by-step podcast of how to make a recipe. I haven't found anything like it out there (only audiobooks of a cookbook). But this would be you taking the person through each step of the process, in real time, with expert tips along the way. Forget paper, forget trying to multitask and watch a video while something is burning. I would just pop my earbuds in.

Roy,
I think once in awhile they should have you and the rest of the single staff do a "dating" game where you can ask 3 women/men questions and then you pick who you would go out on a date with! That would be fun to watch! Of course being in CA with lots of wierdos, someone would have to screen these peeps but it would be very entertaining for the viewers and you never know.....you and the rest of the single staff may just meet the gal/guy of your dreams! :) Could that be a possibility Roy? I am surprised that with everyone Chelsea and you know, that you haven't found that special someone yet!
Stephanie, that is not a bad idea. It is however a lot of pressure to cook on the spot for distressed people. Be careful what you wish for because you might just get it upside yourself real soon. I am working on something about cooking and playing in the kitchen while educating you all and we will see what happens with that. In the meantime, keep sending ideas my way because i love it when you be creative.

Kim, I do not live with Chuy. I live with Chelsea and the Lesbian. Chuy, I believe lives in the Marina with his serrano chiles. Sometimes, I wish Chuy would live with me and then I think what a disaster that would be for me mentally.
Roy
Brenda, thank you for all your comments. I do not look at myself as famous. I believe if you do it over a period of time then you may declare yourself famous. I am still in the process of defining myself and I have only been in LA for two and a half years so there you have it. When and if I reach that plateau, I will hold a news conference to declare my candidacy for famous hood.

After your last Ask Roy, I had a vision of greatness that could be your next cooking show. I wanted to share it with you, lest it be a game changer or at the very least a moment of amusement for you.
What if you combined a cooking show with a show like Maury. You've got some b8tches being like "Who my baby daddy?!" and you are like "well, ladies, calm down, I have a soufle for that." And you cook them a recipe that fits their situation, all while working in some magical Roy advice. You can take any question, like "My girlfriend is cheating on me, what do I do?" And turn it into a recipe of comfort and consolation. Two platforms meet. I'd love to see a segment like that.
Stephanie
Hey Roy, Just wondering.....does Chuy live with you too?
Roy,
No worries..although it would be interesting to see how you"would make it up to me"?
Last nights show was pretty damn funny..What does it feel like to be famous?
Brenda
